If you have never tried kayaking, you’re in for a great experience. Our Ecotours are on the mostly shallow, protected waters of Santa Rosa Sound.
If you have tried canoeing you will LOVE kayaking!
We design our Sunset Kayak Ecotours for the first-time kayaker as well as the more experienced paddler. Strength is not a major factor in sea kayaking, kayaks glide through the water with amazingly little effort, the main focus is toward getting a comfortable, efficient paddle stroke.
We use stable sit-on-top kayaks that are easy to get into and out of. We mostly use single-person kayaks, but have double kayaks, for those that wish to paddle with a friend or small child.
